what i think he was trying to say is that when you do good thing and choose the right you feel good. but if you choose the wrong you feel bad . so if you always choose the right thing every time you dont have to be bad. let say your mom tell you you can go out but you have to be home by seven and your home by eight . you choose the wrong and you will feel bad . choose the right
