duties and  responsibilities 

o conduct routine inspections of public facilities in order to ensure compliance with Clark County and Nevada state laws and regulations governing Environmental Health and Safety; to prepare inspection reports and issue notices of violations and needed corrections; to respond to citizen complaints as they relate to facilities, operations and conditions under the jurisdiction of the Health District; to protect the public against disease, sickness, illness and/or injury; to investigate environmental health related epidemiological complaints; to collect samples for laboratory evaluation

salary- $48,817.60

education 

Must possess a minimum of a bachelors degree which includes the satisfactory completion at least 45 quarter hours, or 32 semester hours of academic work in basic science courses, including biology, chemistry, physics, environmental health, epidemiology, public health, geology, sanitary engineering or environmental engineering, from an institution of higher education approved by the Board of Registered Environmental Health Specialists (BoREHS)
